DESCRIPTION:For more than three decades\, the Chamber has presented Leadership Hopkins County\, a yearly class designed to identify\, educate\, and inspire leaders to serve our community.\n\nLeadership Hopkins County graduates are expected to be positive role models\; active community leaders who are open-minded to change and innovation\; able to utilize networking skills\; educated on current community issues\; and committed to effecting community improvement.\n\nThe goals of the program are to: Familiarize emerging leaders with one another and with the community's current business and civic leadership\; provide these leaders with an understanding of major challenges and opportunities facing Hopkins County\; stimulate increased participation and commitment in the community\; create opportunities to increase knowledge and skills in community leadership\; offer increased contacts and broader communication networks\; and provide greater access and participation in addressing community needs.
